Alina's Cat Haven

Alina de Almeida is a Registered Dietitian with her bachelors in Food & Nutritional Sciences. She completed her residency through New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell and Columbia. Alina went on to work in a hospital setting for 13 years. 

 

Helping others with their diets and eating habits comes from part of Alina’s empathetic nature. One in need is always on her radar. She has now been fortunate to extend her helping hands to animals.

 

Alina began an animal sanctuary in 2021, called Alina's Cat Haven, on the 500 acres St. Regis Resort, in Bahia Beach Puerto Rico.

She also volunteers for the Animal Rescue Force in South Florida, socializing surrendered and traumatized cats.

When Alina is not helping nutritional clients or furry friends, you might find her in Palm Beach alongside her loving and supportive philanthropic fiancé, John Paulson.
